Customs Clearance Supervisor (For Immediate Hiring), Paranaque City in Parañaque City, National Capital Region
Position Title:Customs Clearance Supervisor
Location:Manila Head Office
Reporting to:Customs Clearance Manager
I. Position Purpose:
To supervise the day to day operations of customs clearance department to ensure efficiency and productivity in operations.
II. Position Responsibilities:
To supervise / coordinate shipments/documents to operation staff and customs processors.
To ensure that all shipments have been entered into the system.
To ensure that all billings are prepared on a timely manner.
To ensure that all pre-alerts are sent to clients.
To ensure that Import documents are processed/documented and turned over to Customs Processors.
To ensure that waybill/delivery order are prepared and coordinated with Dispatch for delivery.
To ensure that all jobs and documents are filed accordingly.
To maintain interpersonal relationship with customer and colleagues.
To ensure that all irregularities in operations are reported to the Customs clearance Manager for proper disposition and action.
To perform other duties as required.
III. Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Customs Administration, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
With experience in Sea & Air import operations.
Knowledgeable in SITA and Customs procedures, Customs Clearance License.
At least 2-3 years of related working experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Excellent data analysis skillsStrong and confident communicator.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Willingness to travel.
