Customs Clearance Manager (For Immediate Hiring), Paranaque City in Parañaque City, National Capital Region

PositionTitle:Customs Clearance Manager
Location:Manila Head Office
Reporting to:General Manager for Operations
I. Position Purpose:
To plan, manage and direct the overall functions of customs clearance and air import operations to ensure continuing operations, maximize returns on investments, and increase productivity
II. Position Responsibilities:
To formulate, review, implement processes, policies and procedures to achieve operational service levels in line with the company's and customer's requirements.
To plan, develop, coordinate and execute business strategies to deliver revenue and profitability in line with the company's targets.
To recruit, retain and motivate team members to respond to customer needs and sustain productivity.
To train, supervise and evaluate performance of team members and provide coaching to improve and develop skills needed in the job.
To prepare and submit accurate and timely reports required by management and customers.
To analyze operations, evaluate performance of department and determine potential cost reduction, program improvement, or policy change.
To manage and control customs clearance department's financial and budget activities in order to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase efficiency.
To attend and handle promptly and properly customer's claims & complaints, if any.
To provide customer service and actively conduct sales visit.
To perform other duties as required.
III. Job Requirements:
Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Customs Administration, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Marketing or equivalent.
With experience in Logistics & Warehousing/Transport & all aspects of
Import operation duties
Knowledgeable in SITA and Customs procedures, IATA, Customs Clearance License, NBI
At least 2-3 years of related working experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
Excellent data analysis skills
Strong and confident communicator.
Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
Willingness to travel.
